ClinicalTrialDiversity.com was started by Dr. James Powell and his associates at Strategic Medical Associates to advance awareness of the need for racial and ethnic diversity in clinical trials of pharmaceutical and biotechnology products.  Dr. Powell has been passionate in solving this disparity for over twenty years including countless hours of research, crisscrossing the nation speaking to large groups and individuals, holding strategy meetings, and publishing focused material to address this very topic.  After observing very little action taken by the industry, Dr. Powell decided to put his findings into practice by bridging the distance between physicians, patients, and the pharmaceutical industry.
